Shannon Penaluna

Shannon Penaluna is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Relevent since July 2025. Prior to this role, Shannon was the Head of Commercial Finance and VP of Finance at DRONAMICS from April 2022 to July 2025, where responsibilities included supporting executive leadership in long-term strategy and fundraising efforts, leading the development of financial models, and providing commercial finance support. Shannon also held positions as a Senior Associate at Alvarez & Marsal, where a focus on business valuations and financial analysis was essential, and previously worked at Deloitte UK in various finance roles. Additionally, Shannon has experience in small enterprise development as Treasurer for Phaphama Small Enterprise Development Initiative. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Accountant designation from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and degrees from the University of Cape Town.
