John Kountz

John Kountz is a Distinguished Engineer at Penthera Partners, overseeing the design and development of mobile streaming download and offline playback SDK for both iOS and Android. Prior to this role, John worked as a Principal Software Engineer at SaintsSoft LLC, where John developed the #1 Numismatic App suite on Apple platforms. John also spent time as a Stay @ Home Parent to raise their three children. Before that, John served in various software engineering roles at Microsoft, focusing on technologies such as Ajax, ASP.Net, C#, and more. John's expertise also extends to their time at Minitab as a Staff Software Engineer, specializing in Windows integration points. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona.
