Alain Cornil

Alain Cornil has extensive experience in the medical device industry, currently serving as VP International at Penumbra, Inc. since 2012, overseeing special projects in neurosurgery, market access, and new business development. Prior to this role, Alain held the position of VP Marketing Europe and Directeur Marketing Europe at ACC for a brief period in late 2011 and founded Ekkyo, where as CEO from 2006 to 2011, developed and sold laser-based systems for scar prevention and reduction. Additionally, Alain worked at Boston Scientific as Directeur Marketing Europe for the Neurovascular division from 1993 to 2006, and at Meadox Surgimed and Sanofi Diagnostic Pasteur in product management roles in the early 1990s. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Biomedical Engineering and a Maitrise in Applied Physics from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
