Diana Kung

Diana Kung has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing engineering field. Diana started their career as a Manufacturing Engineering Software Engineer at Varian Medical Systems in 2003, where they developed applications using Microsoft .NET and C#. Diana progressed to roles such as Manufacturing NPI Project Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Software Manager, where they represented manufacturing interests in new product introduction projects and provided leadership and direction to the software engineering team.

In 2019, Diana became a Senior Manager at Varian Medical Systems, overseeing manufacturing software automation and project management. Diana was responsible for providing governance for the global SAP MES system and ensuring consistent business processes. Diana also managed cross-functional collaboration and communication to drive business improvements.

Most recently, Diana joined Penumbra, Inc. in 2022 as the Associate Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Program Management.

Diana Kung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis. Diana also has a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Santa Clara University.
