Alina Varela

Alina Varela is a skilled producer currently working at Genpop Interactive since September 2021, contributing to an unannounced AAA competitive team shooter while ensuring team alignment in a remote and creative environment. Previously, Alina served as a producer at SkyBox Labs from October 2016 to September 2021, managing teams for notable projects such as Magic: The Gathering Arena and fostering a positive culture for AAA game development. Alina's career began at Twitch as a partner from June 2014 to February 2017, establishing a leading variety channel in Latin America and collaborating with major brands. Earlier, Alina worked at Busca Corp as an editor and on-camera host, followed by roles as a QA tester and marketing assistant at SkyBox Labs. Alina holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey, completed in 2013.
