Omar Romandia is a Graduate Research Assistant at UConn's Neag School of Education, focusing on Equity-Minded Policy Implementation. Additionally, Omar serves as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Connecticut's Office for Diversity and Inclusion, where Omar collaborates on diversity and inclusion efforts. Omar is also a Young People For (YP4) Fellow at People For the American Way, engaging in leadership development. Omar has previous experience as an ACE Program Coordinator at Maricopa Community Colleges, a Hispanic Leadership Institute Fellow at Valle del Sol, and a Research Assistant at Arizona State University. Omar has a strong background in education policy and economics, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Education Policy at the University of Connecticut.
