Shiena Base

Shiena Base is an experienced professional in the field of social work and child protection, currently serving as the Education and Protection Programme Manager at People in Need since January 2023. Prior to this role, Shiena worked as a Technical Specialist for Child Protection at Educo ONG from September 2018 to December 2022. Shiena's extensive background includes positions such as Child Protection in Emergencies Specialist and Community Development Facilitator at Plan International between May 2009 and August 2018, Project Officer at Bantay Bata 163 from June 2008 to May 2009, and Social Worker at the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging from August 2003 to October 2007.
