Victoria Heydt

Victoria Heydt is an accomplished editorial operations director at Dotdash Meredith, overseeing Allrecipes, Simply Recipes, and The Spruce Eats since September 2017. With a strong background in content management, Heydt has developed standardized operating procedures, optimized workflows, and improved user engagement through innovative recipe templates. As a food photographer and owner of Heirloom Food Photography, Victoria combines culinary expertise with visual storytelling, contributing to various commercial and editorial projects. Previous roles include freelance recipe development, culinary externship, and significant experience in project management and purchasing within technical environments. Heydt holds a BA in Humanities and Spanish from Washington College and has received culinary education from the Institute of Culinary Education.
