Rachel Fogg

Rachel Fogg has a diverse work experience with a focus on communications and marketing. Rachel is currently the Director of Communications at People Incorporated of Virginia, where they started in April 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Public Information Officer at the Tennessee Department of Veterans Services from January 2019 to March 2020. Rachel also worked at East Tennessee State University as an Assistant Director, leading marketing and recruitment efforts from November 2016 to January 2019. Rachel has experience in admissions counseling and events coordination from their time at Emory & Henry College, where they worked as an Admissions Counselor and Events Coordinator from September 2014 to November 2016. Rachel has also gained experience in public relations and marketing through an internship at the Virginia Highlands Festival in 2014. Rachel's work experience began with a role as a Merchandising Assistant at KVAT Foods Inc. from February 2013 to August 2014. Rachel started their career as an Outreach Specialist at Appalachian Sustainable Development in December 2011, where they worked until June 2012. Rachel has demonstrated skills in communications, marketing, event coordination, and outreach throughout their career.

Rachel Fogg completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History, Public Policy & Community Service at Emory & Henry College from 2008 to 2012. Rachel then pursued their M.S. degree in Integrated Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2021 to 2024.
