Nigel Evans

Nigel Evans has a range of experience in policy and project management roles. Nigel most recently worked as a Project Director, overseeing policy projects and the Taskforce Office at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Director in the Project Office at the same department. Before joining the New Zealand government, Evans worked as a Senior Analyst at the Policy Project in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Nigel also has experience as a Senior Policy Analyst at the New Zealand Treasury and as an Assistant Director at the Australian Government Department of Environment. Nigel began their career as an Analyst, Finance Officer, and Accountant at Hunter Water.

Nigel Evans attended the University of Newcastle from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and a Bachelor of Business. Nigel'sfield of study was Economics & Public Policy. Prior to attending university, they completed their high school education at Newcastle High School in NSW, Australia.
