Fleur Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2005, they worked as the Director of Organizational Development & Corporate Communications at Queensland Treasury. From 2009 to 2012, they held the position of Director of Organizational Projects at the Department of Housing and Public Works. In 2012, they became the Director of Human Resources at the Queensland Government's Department of Science, Information Technology, and Innovation. Fleur then co-founded and became a Director at J&G Consulting in 2012, where they held various roles including CEO and Partner. During their time at J&G Consulting, they specialized in strategy, organizational design, and behavior change. In 2018, they became an Executive Advisor for the Executive MBA Program at QUT. In 2019, they also served as a Councillor on the Somerville House Council. In 2020, they joined SBE Australia as a Tech Cohort Alum. In 2021, they became a Mentor for iLab Startups at UQ Ventures and an Activator at SheEO. Finally, in 2017, they founded PeopleBench and currently serves as the CEO, working to help school leaders develop impactful workforce strategies through data science and a community of practice.

Fleur Johnston FCPHR GAICD pursued their education at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they completed a graduate program. Additionally, they attended The University of Queensland and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology.
