Corina Canavan

Corina Canavan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Corina started their career as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language, working as a freelancer from 1996 to 1997. Corina then moved on to various roles in the communication and cross-cultural training industry, including being a Senior Account Manager and Project Manager at Communicaid Group Ltd from 2001 to 2005. Corina later became the Head of Product Innovation at Communicaid, where they developed and managed the company's communication and cross-cultural training product portfolio.

In 2007, Corina joined CAA International Ltd as a Training Development Manager, where they were responsible for developing new training courses, managing their delivery, and creating sales and marketing strategies. From 2009 to 2020, they worked at Baines Simmons, initially as a Training & Learning Development Manager, and later as the Head of Propositions, Products & Services. In these roles, they developed and delivered training courses and advisory services to the aviation market, and also played a key role in developing the company's portfolio of services.

Most recently, Corina worked at AXELOS Global Best Practice as the Senior Manager - Value Added Services from 2020 to 2023. In this role, they were accountable for the commercial success of AXELOS' Value Added Services, and was involved in designing, developing, and launching service propositions to the customer base, including the ITIL Maturity Model.

Currently, Corina is working as the Product Portfolio Director at PeopleCert since January 2023.

Corina Canavan completed their education in a chronological order. Corina first attended the University of Warwick from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a BA (Hons) in Comparative American Studies. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Marketing at the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM). Later, from 2010 to 2013, they attended UCL and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Adult Learning and Professional Development. In terms of additional certifications, Corina Canavan earned the "Instructional Design: Models of ID" certification from LinkedIn in October 2017. Corina also obtained several certifications in 2021, including "B2B Marketing Foundations: Pricing Strategies," "Pricing Strategy: Value-Based Pricing," and "Product Management Tips," all from LinkedIn.
