Jayden Simelda-Longe

Jayden Simelda-Longe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They started their career as a Board of Directors Youth Member at Out Boulder County in 2015 and later worked as a Hostess and Sales Associate at Smokin Daves BBQ & Taphouse from 2016 to 2017.

In 2017, Jayden took on the role of Bookseller at Barnes and Noble College and also became the Manager of Public Relations at The Current - Eckerd College, where they were responsible for creating advertisements, designing promotional materials, and managing distribution.

They continued to gain valuable experience through internships, including a Creative Intern position at Evolve & Co. in 2019 and an Arts Marketing Internship at Saint Pete Women's Collective from 2020 to 2022. At the Saint Pete Women's Collective, Jayden collaborated with supervisors to manage social media pages and coordinate events for the organization.

In 2021, Jayden joined the Poynter Institute as a Multimedia Graphic Designer, where they stayed until 2023. Their responsibilities included creating multimedia content and graphics.

Currently, Jayden is working as a Junior Marketing Manager at PeopleForBikes, where they started in February 2023. Additional details about their experience in this role are not provided.

Throughout their career, Jayden has demonstrated a strong passion for marketing, graphic design, and promoting art and community engagement. They have also gained experience in event coordination, public relations, and leadership roles.

Jayden Simelda-Longe attended Boulder High School from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a General Diploma with Honors. After that, they enrolled in Eckerd College from 2017 to 2021, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design and Visual Communications, with a focus on General Design. Additionally, Jayden obtained a certification in "Students - Institutional Review Board Understanding for Class Projects" from the CITI Program, a division of BRANY, in March 2021.
