Jared Harrell

Jared Harrell has a strong background in the banking industry, with experience in commercial banking, portfolio management, credit analysis, and customer service. Jared currently holds the role of VP Commercial Banking at Peoples Bank since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior CRE Portfolio Manager at HSBC from April 2019 to May 2021. Jared also has experience as a CRE Portfolio Manager at EagleBank from August 2015 to March 2019, where they managed a portfolio of construction, bridge, and land loans and conducted detailed financial analysis. Before that, they worked as a Commercial Credit Analyst at Severn Savings Bank from July 2013 to August 2015. Jared began their career in the banking industry as a Member Service Representative at TRANSPORTATION FEDERAL CREDIT UNION from January 2012 to July 2013. Additionally, they have experience in sales and marketing roles, including a position as Personal Training Director at LA Fitness in 2011.

Jared Harrell's education history includes a B.S. in African American History from the University of Maryland, obtained from 2005 to 2010. Jared also holds a High School Diploma from Tabor Academy, acquired from 2003 to 2005, and attended Thayer Academy from 2000 to 2003. Jared furthered their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, completed from 2016 to 2018. Jared is currently pursuing a degree in Bank Management at the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management, from 2022 to 2024. Additionally, Jared has obtained several certifications, including Claritas® Investment Certificate from CFA Institute in 2015 and LEED Green Associate from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) in August 2011. Jared has also achieved certifications in Blockchain Technologies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, edX, and Blockchain Council.
