Jeffrey Hooper

Jeffrey Hooper, CPA, is an experienced finance professional with a solid background in accounting and financial analysis. Currently serving as CFO at First South Bank since February 2007, Jeffrey plays a key role in strategic decision-making and prepares quarterly ALCO reports. Prior experience includes positions as a Financial Analyst at The South Financial Group, where critical analysis of financial statements was conducted, and as a Staff Accountant at both Edwards & Hedricks CPAs and Deloitte & Touche, participating in audits and financial statement preparation. Jeffrey's career began as a City Accountant for the City of North Pole, managing financial reporting and budgeting. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a Certificate of Completion in Banking from the Colorado Graduate School of Banking.
