John Boyd has extensive experience in the banking and lending industry, having served as a Senior Loan Officer at Peoples Bank since April 1994, where responsibilities include the origination of various home loans and maintaining proficiency in Encompass mortgage software. Prior to this role, John worked as the Marketing Director at Sunflower Bank from 1984 to 1990, where John managed in-house advertising and marketing efforts. John began a career in journalism as a General Assignment Reporter for The Salina Journal between January 1979 and January 1980. John holds an education from the University of Kansas Graduate School of Banking, attended from 1972 to 1984.
