Jonathan Uriostegui

Jonathan Uriostegui is an experienced engineer currently working in Transmission Engineering Design at Peoples Gas since August 2022, where a previous role as an Associate Engineer also focused on Transmission Engineering Design. Prior to this, Jonathan was self-employed as a painter from May 2016 to August 2022 and held a senior design project role at Spraying Systems Co., which involved designing a continuous flow system for various fluids. Jonathan also contributed to NASA's programs, serving as an Assistant for the NASA Community College Aerospace Scholar in August 2019 and participating in a five-week course with the NCAS NASA program from October 2018 to March 2019. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Lake County and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
