Vernell Collins

Vernell Collins is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at TECO Peoples Gas. Prior to this role, Collins worked as an IT Manager at Duke Energy Corporation, where they managed the IT Infrastructure Delivery department and led various projects in software development and integration. Before their time at Duke Energy, Collins worked as an Analyst/Programmer at Wake Forest University, focusing on developing applications for cognitive and electrophysiological experiments. Collins holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Winston-Salem State University, an A.A.S in Information Systems with a Network Administration concentration from Forsyth Technical Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Morehouse College.
