Karen Brown is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in software engineering and analysis, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Lead IT Analyst at Peoples Health since January 2005. In this role, Karen has led significant projects including the development and support of HIPAA X12 transactions, facilitated the conversion from Amisys 3000 to Amisys Advance, and transitioned key programs from the HP3000 platform to UNIX. Karen collaborates with software vendors to implement and enhance third-party systems, supports the Amisys Advance system, and ensures that internal customers' system requirements are met. Prior to joining Peoples Health, Karen worked as an EDI Analyst at Humana from 1994 to 2004.
