Mary Prechter

Mary Prechter has a strong background in healthcare management and coordination. Mary has been with Peoples Health since 2012, starting as a Field Team Manager and currently serving as Operations Manager for Health Services in the New Orleans Market. In their current role, they provide oversight to the regional team, managing daily utilization management authorization requests, discharge coordination, and further care coordination. From 2008 to 2012, Mary worked as a Case Manager for the Department of Defense, specifically with Humana Military Healthcare Services and OMV Medical. Overall, Mary Prechter has over a decade of experience in healthcare management and coordination roles.

Mary Prechter has obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Mary also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tulane University. Mary further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. In addition to their degrees, they have certifications including Certified Case Manager from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), obtained in December 2001, and Registered Nurse from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing, obtained in July 1998.
