Sheryl Flores has a diverse work experience in the real estate, banking, and finance sectors. Sheryl began their career in 1983 at Central Coast Farm Credit, where they served as Vice President until 1990. Sheryl then joined Commerce Bank, San Luis Obispo in 1994 as the Commercial Lending AVP before transitioning to Peoples' Self-Help Housing in 1996. At Peoples' Self-Help Housing, Sheryl held various roles, including Housing Development Director and Vice President of Real Estate Development from October 2012 onwards.

Sheryl Flores attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1975 to 1979. Sheryl obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture Business during this period.
