J. Wesley Regian

J. Wesley Regian, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. J. Wesley began their career at the Air Force Research Laboratory in 1987 as a Senior Scientist, where they conducted research on Knowledge Based Systems. During their time there, they served as the Principal Investigator for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research Training Research for Automated Instruction project. In 2004, they joined Concurrent Technologies Corporation as the Principal Knowledge Engineer, where they focused on cognitive science, knowledge modeling, and knowledge-based software engineering. J. Wesley also held the position of Program Manager for the DARPA National Advanced Software Engineering Center. In 2012, Dr. Regian became the Chief Knowledge Officer at DecisionGrid, Inc., providing expertise in human terrain modeling/analysis and multi-source intelligence fusion for their SaaS intelligence analysis tool. Currently, they are working as the Lead Scientist & Senior Technical Fellow at PeopleTec, where they contribute their knowledge and skills in various areas.

J. Wesley Regian, Ph.D. has a solid education history. J. Wesley obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas from 1977 to 1979. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Development from The University of Texas at Dallas, completing their studies from 1980 to 1981. Afterward, they attended UC Santa Barbara from 1982 to 1986, where they achieved their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cognitive Science.
