Kate Schureman

Kate Schureman currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Museum Store Association since January 2024 and has been the Chief Strategy Officer at Peoria Riverfront Museum since July 2012, where responsibilities include managing various operational departments and serving as Chief Operating Officer. Prior experience includes roles as VP of Planning & Administration and VP of Development at Lakeview Museum, overseeing the development of a $77 million regional museum facility and managing accreditation processes. Earlier positions included congressional aide roles for Representatives Thomas Ewing, Edward Madigan, and Robert Michel. Kate Schureman holds a B.A. in Political Science and Government from DePauw University and is a graduate of Peoria High School.
