Jon McAtominey

Jon McAtominey has extensive experience in software development and engineering. Jon is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Peppercorn AI Group since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director at Atominey IT Solutions, providing software architecture, development, and DevOps expertise to clients in Northern England. Their clients included TransUnion, Thompsons Solicitors, Jet2, and Slater and Gordon Lawyers.

Before that, Jon worked as a Senior Software Developer/Engineer at Stanleybet International from March 2012 to May 2016. Jon played a key role in designing and implementing the company's first scalable and multi-jurisdiction compliant online gambling platform, which significantly increased the business's turnover. Jon integrated various e-commerce providers to ensure secure transactions for customers.

From October 2010 to January 2012, Jon was a Senior Software Developer/Engineer at Netcars, a start-up aimed at competing with AutoTrader and Arnold Clark. Jon contributed to the development of the company's vehicle search engine and streamlining of support functions.

Jon also worked at Rippleffect, a medium-sized web agency, from August 2008 to August 2010 as a Software Developer/Engineer. Jon was involved in the full project cycle, collaborating with clients and delivering bespoke systems and web applications.

Prior to that, Jon worked at Ph.Creative, a small-sized web agency, from June 2007 to July 2008. Jon enhanced the company's in-house CMS system and developed web applications according to client specifications. Jon added SEO tools to allow clients to customize their websites for improved search engine visibility.

Jon McAtominey attended De Montfort University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Software Engineering.
