Amy Penner is an accomplished leader in the food and beverage industry with extensive experience in research and development, operations, and procurement. Currently serving as Director and Chief of Staff to the R&D Vice President at PepsiCo Foods North America since February 2021, Amy manages a team focused on delivering operational excellence in innovation and data management. Prior roles at PepsiCo include Senior Manager for Global Extrusion & Pellets Process Engineering and Principal Scientist for the Advanced Personalization Ideation Center. Amy's experience also encompasses leadership positions at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS, where responsibilities included global procurement and heading R&D for Asia, as well as roles at Mondelēz International and The Kraft Heinz Company, concentrating on continuous improvement and new process development. Amy holds a Master's degree in Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Oxford Brookes University.
