Sowmya Kondapalli

R&d Principal Engineer at PepsiCo

Sowmya Kondapalli is an experienced R&D Principal Engineer at PepsiCo since April 2017, having previously served as an Associate Principal Engineer in R&D. Prior to this role, Kondapalli was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Innovation Center Iceland, where work focused on detecting melamine in infant milk formula using Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy. Earlier experience includes a role as a Process Engineer at Intel Corporation, responsible for optimizing etching tools and providing technical support. Kondapalli began academic career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, where a microfluidic biosensor for detecting viral pathogens in water was developed.
