Mahesh Narayanan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Mahesh is currently the Managing Partner at Neuvation Ventures, an impact investment fund focused on Brain Health. As a Co-Founder of PepVax, Inc., a biotechnology company, they were involved in the development of a DNA-based drug delivery and development platform. Mahesh also worked as a Program Adviser and Venture Partner at ASTRALABS, where they provided guidance and support to Series A-stage startups. Before that, as an Independent Consultant, they utilized their expertise in technology and development engineering to lead and motivate project teams. As the Founder and CEO of Can-Scope, they provided executive leadership for a biotechnology service provider focusing on cancer therapeutics. Mahesh also gained experience as a Researcher at GlaxoSmithKline and a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania and Eichebaum Labs. Mahesh has also held positions in academia as an Adjunct Professor at Philadelphia University and as a Project Manager/Independent Contractor at the Penn Biotech Group. Overall, their work experience reflects their expertise in biotechnology, project management, research, academia, and venture capital.
Mahesh Narayanan completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Pre-Medical from Boston University from 2007 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, which they completed from 2010 to 2012.
