Carrie Thomas

Carrie Thomas has extensive experience in educational leadership and curriculum development, currently serving as the Pre-K to 12 Supervisor of ELA & ESL and District Anti-bullying Coordinator at Pequannock Township School District since September 2018. Previous roles include Department Chair and Middle Grades Literacy Specialist at Piscataway Township Public Schools, where Carrie supervised a faculty of 25, conducted professional development workshops, and promoted data-driven instruction. Additional experience includes positions at the National Writing Project at Rutgers University, volunteer work with the Juvenile Conference Committee, and teaching English across various grade levels. Carrie holds a Master of Education in Special Education, a Master's degree in Education Administration and Supervision, and a Bachelor's degree in English and Studio Art, complemented by multiple teaching certifications.
