Belkis Xiomara Ruiz Medina

Belkis Xiomara Ruiz Medina has extensive experience in safety, hygiene, and environmental management, currently serving as a Process Safety Specialist at Petroquímica de Venezuela, S.A. since September 2008. Previous roles include Risk Engineer and SHA Advisor, with responsibilities involving the coordination of safety training and auditing safety management for contractors. Prior to this, Belkis held the position of Industrial Safety Supervisor at Constructora Inversiones Altavista C.A, where responsibilities included risk analysis and health and safety program development. Belkis began a career in risk management as a Labor and Environmental Risk Intern at Compañía Anónima Nacional Teléfonos de Venezuela (CANTV), focusing on risk assessments and safety inspections. Belkis holds a Specialist degree in Environmental Impact Assessment and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional Experimental del Táchira.
