Jens Jørgensen

Jens Jørgensen has a comprehensive work experience in the field of geotechnical engineering. Jens started their career at GEODAN A/S (now COWI) in 1988 and worked there until 1990. Jens then moved to GEOTEST AG, where they worked as a Geotechnical Engineer until 1995. Following that, they joined Skude & Jacobsen A/S (now MOE A/S) as a Geotechnical Engineer for a short period of time. From 1995 to 1996, Jørgensen worked at COWI as a Geotechnical Engineer before joining Geo as a Geotechnical Engineer and eventually becoming the Department Director in geotechnics, a position they held from 1997 to 2016. In 2016, they joined ALECTIA as an Area Manager for Climate, Water, and Environment. Jørgensen then moved to Atkins in 2017, initially serving as a Team Leader for Geotechnics and eventually becoming a Practice Director. Finally, in 2019, they became the Head of Clients and Markets for Ground Engineering at Per Aarsleff A/S, where they currently work.

Jens Jørgensen completed their high school education from Viby Amtsgymnasium in the field of Mathematics and Physics, graduating in 1983. Jens then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Aalborg University, which they successfully obtained in 1988.
