CTO at Pera

Simon B. has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Simon started their career as a Senior Scientist at Philips in 1990 and eventually moved up to become a Department Head in 2000. During this time, they played a pivotal role in establishing Philips Research in China, building research labs, recruiting and training employees, and managing various aspects of infrastructure and international collaboration. In 2004, Simon founded their own company called yeaan design, where they served as the CTO and played a crucial role in growing the business and overseeing tasks such as programming, IT, server management, recruitment, and writing. In 2015, Simon ventured into a new business venture called dooplus design, where they again took on the role of CTO and Founder. Simon developed a multi-lingual content management system called yajogo and worked on bootstraping the new business. Simon B. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 1987 and 1990. Simon later pursued a Master of Arts degree from the same university in 1994. The field of study for their Master's degree is not specified.
