James Velez

James Velez has over 15 years of work experience in the technology field. James began their career in 2006 as a Business Analyst at Fimat, LLC (Now Newedge Group). James then moved to Initiate Systems in 2009 as a Solutions Engineer, where they helped determine the potential value of proposed software solutions and develop and code new products. In 2011, they worked as a Consultant at TIBCO Software, providing MDM business analysis and technical expertise. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Conducive Consulting, helping to architect new solutions, develop enhancements to current solutions, and implement new solutions. In 2015, they joined Perficient as a Technical Architect, designing software implementation solutions and working with project teams to ensure projects were delivered successfully. In 2018, they became an Independent Consultant, and in 2022 they joined PeraHealth: The Rothman Index as an Implementation Engineer.

James Velez has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Information Systems and a minor in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago, which they obtained between 2003 and 2006. James also attended Bishop Noll Institute. Additionally, Velez has obtained four certifications from Amazon Web Services and Collibra.
