Nikki Rasmussen, PT, Cert. MDT

Nikki Rasmussen, PT, Cert. MDT has over 25 years of experience in physical therapy. Nikki began their career in 1995 as a Physical Therapist at NovaCare Rehabilitation, where they evaluated patients, developed patient-specific treatment plans, and performed therapeutic interventions while also serving on the Utilization Management committee for case management in a managed-care environment. In 1998, they moved to Falls Medical Group Advanced Healthcare SC as a Physical Therapist, where they evaluated, treated, and developed plans for orthopedic cases. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Physical Therapist at Innovations Rehabilitation in Sparta, WI, where they evaluated, treated, and developed plans for a diverse patient population across all ages and conditions. Nikki also developed and conducted community education seminars with a primary focus on women's health. From 2005 to 2016, they were a Physical Therapist at Tomah Health, where they evaluated, treated, and developed plans for outpatient spine, orthopedics, pelvic floor, neurology, pulmonary, and medical/surgical inpatient cases. Nikki also developed and managed the roll-out of new software platforms for the clinical team and executed training of team in use of software tools. Finally, from 2016 to 2021, they were a Clinical Solutions Consultant, Clinical Liaison, and Clinical Lead, Provider Relations at Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes, where they provided continuing education through webinars and creative media, resolved user questions on individual, organizational, and industry-wide offerings, and acted as a public liaison at national and regional trade shows, conferences, and meetings. Nikki currently serves as Director of Clinical Engagement at PeraHealth: The Rothman Index.
