Perani's Hockey World ("The Toystore For The Hockey Player") was formed in Flint back in 1976 by Bob Perani, a local Pro hockey player and fan favorite who played for a number of years as a goalie with the Flint Generals. Over the past 30 years the company has grown to include 18 retail stores in North America, and our web and catalog company has grown to one of the largest in the country. Perani's has serviced many future professional players including Mike Modano - who bought his first pair of skates from the company's Lakeland Arena store - and even at one time briefly employed former All-Star Pat Lafontaine when he was a teenager. The Perani's Hockey World retail stores (including the 40,000 square foot Livonia Superstore) still draw customers from across the country. You can find information about those stores and more of a background on Perani's Hockey World at www.peranis.com, or www.hockeyworld.com
