Michael Benson

Michael Benson is an experienced professional in cybersecurity and system security management with a strong background in providing support to military operations and government clients. Currently serving as a Cyber Systems Engineer and Advisor at Peraton since September 2025, Michael focuses on securing systems to protect the warfighter. Prior roles include Director of Cyber Security at Nomad Global Communication Solutions, Information System Security Manager for the US Army, and Information System Security Officer at Penta Research Incorporated, where key responsibilities involved collaborating with Defense Industrial Base teams to ensure cybersecurity measures. Michael’s earlier experience includes roles as Facility Security Officer at Penta Research and Service Advisor at Woody Anderson Ford. Michael holds a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy Studies from Pensacola Christian College.
