Rob Ziegler

Rob Ziegler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wireless communication and networking technologies. Currently serving as Senior Research Director at Peraton Labs since November 2015, Rob leads technical programs and manages teams in areas such as radio physical and link layer technologies. Prior to this role, Rob was the Head of Department at Applied Communication Sciences/Vencore Labs, overseeing a team focused on wireless network optimization. Additional roles include Chief Scientist at Telcordia Technologies, Director of User Terminal Engineering at ArrayComm, and Director at Bellcore, where foundational work on low-power wireless access technologies was conducted. Rob Ziegler holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Systems Science from Michigan State University.
