Omer Bar lev

Omer Bar Lev has worked as a Software Developer at Perception Point since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Gigya from 2020. Before that, they worked as a Back End Developer and QA and Automation Engineer at the Israel Defense Forces from 2016. In their role as a Back End Developer, they took an active role in a POC for a system designed to minimize and prevent service downtime by allowing operational teams to build complex dedicated automation workflows using a simple drag&drop web interface and then scheduled those workflows to run either manually or by setting trigger rules based on services' logs or simple cronjobs. The Backend was built with Apache Nifi, Elastic Search, Mongo DB, and Python. As a QA and Automation Engineer, they managed all project QA, Automation, and CI/CD aspects on their own in two separate teams who developed a dynamic ETL creation system on top of the Hadoop ecosystem. Omer also built two automation infrastructures from scratch for both, API and Frontend (web-based) testing while also implemented tests on top of them. Omer used Atlassian products (Jira, Bamboo), Jenkins, C#, Selenium Grid, and Selenium.

Omer Bar lev attended The Hebrew Reali School, where they studied Computer Science.
