Cathy McCarthy

Cathy McCarthy is an experienced marketing and event professional, currently serving as Operating Partner at Perch Partners since March 2018. Previously, McCarthy held the position of Senior Director of Event Marketing at Yahoo from 2013 to 2017, where leadership was provided to a team of over 20, successfully executing more than 300 events annually. Prior experience includes Senior Marketing Director roles at American Eagle Outfitters, where McCarthy spearheaded campus outreach initiatives and brand strategies, and Director of Event Strategies at SHW, consulting for American Eagle Outfitters. Earlier roles at Amazon.com involved managing global brand design and marketing initiatives, and MWW Group focused on client relations and business development. McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of Oregon.
