Brian Lassey has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles, primarily focused on refrigeration and utilities. Brian is currently working as the Director of Engineering - Refrigeration & PSM at Perdue Farms since 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at The Kraft Heinz Company, where they served as the Corporate Ammonia Refrigeration & Utilities Lead from 2019 to 2022, and as the Sr Manager, Manufacturing - Ammonia Refrigeration from 2019 to 2021. Before joining The Kraft Heinz Company, they worked at Perdue Farms as the Refrigeration Engineering Manager from 2014 to 2019. Brian also has experience in project engineering at General Mills from 1998 to 2014 and served in the US Navy as an officer from 1992 to 1998.
Brian Lassey attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1988 to 1992, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering.

Arthur W. Perdue founded Perdue Farms in 1920 but the company gained national attention as a brand name in the 1970s when son and successor, Franklin P. Perdue, became television pitchman for the company. Today, Jim Perdue, grandson of the founder, is the chief executive and the face of Perdue on television. The company sells chicken and turkey products to food retailers and food service companies in the Eastern and Midwestern U.S. and exports poultry products to more than 70 foreign countries around the world. Perdue runs two soybean-processing plants that produce vegetable oils and ingredients for animal feed.
