Benedetto Lorenzon

Mr. Lorenzon is a Managing Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in the Industrials sector.

Mr. Lorenzon has more than 13 years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised on a number of significant transactions, including advising International Paper on the spin-off of its Printing Papers segment and on its sale of Kwidzyn pulp and paper mill, Hermitage Offshore on the sale of its fleet under Chapter 11, the independent committee of the Board of Directors of Scorpio Bulkers on investment in Scorpio Tankers, Linde on its merger of equals with Praxair, Scorpio Tankers on its acquisition of Navig8 Product Tankers and concurrent equity offering, Johnson Electric on its acquisition of Stackpole International, and KPS Capital Partners on the acquisition of Thyssenkrupp Waupaca. Mr. Lorenzon has also advised clients in complex situations outside of the Industrials sector including Owl Rock on its combination with Dyal Capital and concurrent listing via a merger with Altimar Acquisition Corp., Groupe Lactalis on its acquisition of Kraft Heinz’ natural cheese business, Oaktree on its sale to Brookfield Asset Management, Deutsche Boerse on the sale of International Securities Exchange to NASDAQ, Willis Group on its merger with Towers Watson, Coach on its acquisition of Stuart Weitzman, Prudential Financial on the acquisition of a 40% Stake in AFP Habitat, Pabst Brewing Company on its sale to Oasis Beverages and TSG Consumer Partners, and Bevyz on its sale to Keurig Green Mountain, among others.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in August of 2010, Mr. Lorenzon was at Morgan Stanley in London where he was part of the Investment Banking Division.

Mr. Lorenzon earned a Bachelor in Law and Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance from Bocconi University and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
