Diego Simonian

Diego Simonian is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. Based in New York, he provides strategic and financial advice to Infrastructure investors comprising global infrastructure funds, private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, and corporate clients.

Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Mr. Simonian spent 23 years at J.P. Morgan, most recently serving as Global Co-Head of Infrastructure Investor Coverage. Prior to this role, Mr. Simonian spent 15 years covering the Transportation and Infrastructure sectors as Global Head of Aviation and Head of Transportation & Infrastructure EMEA. Earlier in his career, Mr. Simonian was a member of J.P. Morgan’s Latin America M&A group, where he advised clients across industry sectors.

At J.P. Morgan, Mr. Simonian led a broad range of M&A transactions, debt and equity financings, and restructurings for infrastructure investors and corporate clients in the transportation, power, energy, and communications sectors. Mr. Simonian also led several landmark transactions in the airline, aircraft leasing, logistics, and shipping sectors in the U.S., Europe and Latin America.

Mr. Simonian earned an MBA in Finance & Economics from Columbia Business School and a B.Sc. in Economics from Universidad Católica Argentina.
