Gary Barancik

Gary Barancik is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Partner at Perella Weinberg since 2006, Gary has held leadership roles overseeing Finance, IT, and Facilities departments and was instrumental in the firm's transition from a private partnership to a public company. As a founding Partner, Gary co-heads the Special Committee Board Advisory Practice and Fairness Opinion Committee, providing expert advisory services on complex transactions across various industries and geographies. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg, Gary was a Managing Director in Mergers and Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley from 1987 to 2003, where Gary also advised clients on intricate transactional matters. Gary holds an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, both from The Wharton School.
