Gilles Tré-Hardy

Gilles Tré-Hardy is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in the Telecom and Digital Infrastructure sectors in EMEA.

Mr. Tré-Hardy has more than 17 years of investment banking and related experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters. Mr Tré-Hardy has been directly involved in more than 60 TMT M&A transactions totalling around $170 billion in value, with a particular focus on the Digital Infrastructure space (around 30 deals over the past 15 years) where he took part of most of the landmark transaction in the space, like American Tower / Telxius transaction (€7.7BN) and subsequent equity raise with CDPQ and Allianz CP; or Vantage Towers IPO (acting as one of the global coordinator).

Since he joined Perella Weinberg Partners, he has notably advised Digital Bridge on the €17.5BN acquisition of a stake in Deutsche Telekom GD Towers (the largest ever telecom infrastructure deal in Europe) and InfraVia on its Fiber joint-venture with Iliad in Poland.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in 2021, Mr. Tré-Hardy was a managing director in the TMT team at Bank of America, where he most focused on assisting both large telecom corporate and specialised digital infrastructure players. He began his career at Lazard serving Telecom clients and creating 15 years ago the digital infrastructure practice focusing since the beginning on all verticals: towers, fiber and datacenter.

Mr. Tré-Hardy graduated from Telecom Paris, a tier one telecom engineer school in France and holds Masters Degree in Applied Mathematics from Dauphine University and in Corporate Finance from Sorbonne University.
