Mr. Wappler is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He primarily focuses on advising clients in the Consumer / Retail sector.

Mr. Wappler has more than 12 years of experience advising companies on a wide range of strategic and financial matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised Altria, the largest shareholder of SABMiller, in connection with the sale of SABMiller to AB InBev; Kate Spade on its sale to Coach; Collective Brands on its sale of Payless to Golden Gate Capital and on its sale of Sperry, Saucony, Keds and Stride Rite to Wolverine Worldwide; Express on its takeover defense; Coldwater Creek on its restructuring and IP sale to Sycamore Partners; and NYSE on its sale to Intercontinental Exchange.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in August of 2009, Mr. Wappler was at Deloitte Consulting and Mercer Consulting, where he served as a Consultant responsible for advisory engagements across a diversified set of industries.

Mr. Wappler earned a bachelor in Business Administration from The University of Texas and a Masters's in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
