Kori Lugar is a Staff Biologist at Perennial Environmental Services since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Houston from August 2019 to August 2022, where responsibilities involved assisting Dr. Steven Pennings with the Georgia Coastal Ecosystems Long Term Ecological Research project, as well as teaching Introduction to Biology and Ecology & Evolution lab courses as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Kori Lugar also contributed to research on intertidal oyster reefs in the Texas Gulf Coast under Dr. Marc Hanke as a Research Assistant. Prior roles include Naturalist at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, providing education on local flora and fauna, and an Internship Trainee with TMA - Third Millennium Alliance focusing on avian ecology. Kori Lugar holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Bachelor of Science in General Biology, both from the University of Houston.
