Angela Bolaños

Teaching Artist at Pérez Art Museum Miami

Angela Bolaños is a multidisciplinary artist based in Miami, originally from Honduras, and serves as the Art Instructor at Friendship Circle Miami since September 2021. As the CEO of Angela Bolaños Art since January 2000, Bolaños utilizes various mediums including painting, embroidery, digital art, and jewelry design, to explore themes related to emotional and natural worlds, personal and cultural memories, and the passage of time. Bolaños has held multiple teaching roles, including Teaching Artist at Pérez Art Museum Miami and School Initiatives Resident Teaching Artist at Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami. Educational experience includes serving as Director of Education at Coral Gables Museum and Museum Educator at HistoryMiami. Bolaños earned a BA in Liberal Studies/Italian from Portland State University in 2013.
