Currently serving as Associate Registrar for Exhibitions at Pérez Art Museum Miami, Emily oversees installation processes, maintains object records, and coordinates collection management duties. Prior experience includes roles as Membership Coordinator at Lowe Art Museum, where Emily developed membership campaigns and managed constituent information, and as Curatorial Assistant at The Margulies Collection, focusing on exhibition organization and marketing. Emily's foundation in fundraising and communications was established during tenure at the Alpha-1 Foundation, which enhanced skills in event organization and social media strategy. Emily Valdes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from University of Miami and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Art History at Arizona State University.
