Jose Velez is an experienced arts educator and coordinator with a background in management and program supervision within the arts sector. Currently serving as Internship Coordinator at Pérez Art Museum Miami and as Arts in Education Consultant at Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Jose has a robust history with Lincoln Center Education, holding various roles from Associate Director of Teaching Artist Faculty & Fellowships to Assistant Director of Educational and Community Partnerships. Previous positions include Program Manager at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., and sourcing assistant at Gap Inc./Banana Republic, along with early career roles in production at Washington National Opera and Arena Stage. Jose holds a Master of Arts in Theatre from the University at Albany, SUNY, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Theater from Ohio Dominican University.
