Matt Maroni

Head of Restaurant Transformation at Perfect Company

Matt Maroni has worked in the food industry since 2004. Matt began their career as the Executive Chef at Rainbow Lodge Restaurant, followed by a similar role at The Lodge at Bayou Bend in 2006. In 2007, they moved to Mid-America Club - ClubCorp USA as the Executive Chef. From 2010 to 2012, Matt was the Chef/Owner of gaztro-wagon/Chicago Food Trucks.com, driving the food truck movement in the City of Chicago and authoring an ordinance introduced into the Chicago City Council to update mobile food ordinances. In 2012, they became the Executive Chef at the Woman's Athletic Club of Chicago. In 2016, they moved to Baird & Warner as a Broker, and also became General Manager and Group Sales at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro and Murphys Rooftop Company. From 2018 to 2021, Matt was the Director of Kitchen Design and General Manager at Kitchen United. Matt is currently the Head of Restaurant Transformation at Perfect Company.

Matt Maroni attended the University of Houston from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelors of Science in Hotel and Restuarant Management.
