Shayri Roychoudhury

Shayri Roychoudhury has a diverse work experience in operations and manufacturing roles. Shayri is currently serving as the Global Head of Operations at Perfect Day, where they lead the animal-free dairy manufacturing and operations team. Prior to this, they worked as the Sr Director of Operations and Director of Operations at Perfect Day. Shayri also held the position of Director, Tech Transfer & Process Engineering at Perfect Day.

Before joining Perfect Day, Shayri served as a Member at Chief, a private network aimed at empowering women executives and promoting leadership. Shayri also worked at Evolva SA as the Manufacturing Operations Manager, overseeing global manufacturing and supply chain operations. Shayri's role involved managing projects for the production of health nutrients and API products.

In their earlier career, Shayri joined Aurora Algae, Inc as a Project Engineer/Manager, where they played a crucial role in downstream projects and engineering details for fund raising. Shayri also worked at Amyris Inc as a Process Engineer, focusing on developing and scaling up recovery and purification processes. At AMRI, Shayri worked as a Supervisor, Process Engineering, leading sterile manufacturing projects for pharmaceutical companies. Shayri also gained experience as a Process Development Engineer at Microbia, where they designed and built a pilot facility for specialty chemical production. Shayri began their career as an Application Engineer at Millipore Corporation.

Shayri Roychoudhury completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2007 to 2008.
